After Yakima's long awaited release of the Rail Grab... there have been rumors that Yakima is working on introducing a set of limited edition Rail Grab Pro's. Along the same idea that Yakima offers the SkyBox and the SkyBox Pro line of cargo boxes, the Rail Grab Pro will be initially released as a unique alternative to the market as a whole's offering of cosmetically bland rack mounts.
These pictures were take of an unknown vehicle found near Yakima's corporate office indicate Yakima is still in the initial testing and feasibility phases. The finish on this set seems a little rough and it looks like they're trying out a couple of different label options (including a 3 dimensional label reminiscent of the SkyBox line).
Calls into Yakima didn't confirm or deny the report but an undisclosed source indicated that this wasn't the only product going through a cosmetic upgrade.
